china intelligent and connected vehicles (beijing) research institute co.,ltd. (cicv) was jointly initiated by china society of automotive engineers (china sae), china association of automobile manufacturers (caam) and china industry innovation alliance for the intelligent and connected vehicles (caicv). cicv was founded on march 19, 2018, registered in beijing economic and technological development area, and the registered capital is 1100 million(rmb). the 23 shareholders are leading enterprises and research institutions in the fields of oems, parts & components, information & communication, etc.
on may 30th, 2019, cicv was approved as the “national innovation center of intelligent and connected vehicles” by the ministry of industry and information technology.
we aim to be industrial development core think tank, common technology r&d center, innovative service public platform, innovative ecological collaboration platform and innovation achievement transformation base, promote china's icv and related industries in the global value chain and ultimately build up a world-class r&d platform.
in order to promote the development of icv industry in china, with the support of the ministry of industry and information technology (miit), china society of automotive engineers (china sae) and china association of automobilemanufacturers (caam) established “china industry innovation alliance for the intelligent and connected vehicles（caicv）” on june 12, 2017. miit serves as the guidance unit of the alliance, and minister miao wei and vice minister xin guobin serve respectively as director and deputy director of the steering committee of the alliance.
the alliance is voluntarily formed by domestic enterprises, universities, research institutes and industry organizations, and there are currently 64 council members and about 400 ordinary members from the fields of automobile, information and communication technology, transportation, etc. in accordance with the agreed working mechanism, the alliance focuses on policy and strategic researches, r&d of key generic technologies, standards and regulations, testing, industrialization promotion, academic exchanges and international cooperation, talent training and other related aspects. it has become an important platform to promote the development of icv industry in china.
